    Default New Camera

I've splurged and purchased a re-manufactured Nikon D40 digital camera for the store (great deal from Adorama on this, under $ 400!), and am retiring my cheesy Kodak Point n' Shoot. Expect the photo quality and details to improve markedly from here on out.....some samples with the Nikon, same pieces are in the forum elsewhere with the 'old' camera. The Nikon is great, it takes very 'neutral' photos that don't require hue adjustment or shading in Photoshop, the way the old Kodak did. These are photos right out the camera, I didn't even crop them or enhance them.

I have to say I thought your old camera took decent enough pictures, especially considering half the time it seemed you were taking them outside. Can't wait to see more pictures with the new camera.
