I really like the leather pieces I see pictures of in Kipling Whiskey but according to the H&M website it looks like it is no longer available?
Kipling has been gone for many years. Closest leather to it today would be Cameo Brown Burnished, which is actually a little nicer than the old Kipling, too.

When Hancock Moore no longer offers a leather (like Kipling Whiskey) is it because they no longer buy it from the source? Or, is it because the source no longer produces it? Or, was there lack of demand?
Also, by chance have you updated this excellent review/analysis of H&M leathers in this post - http://www.myfurnitureforum.com/show...r-Descriptions
Thanks!
Duane, you are an incredible source of information - thank you.

Leather drops can be caused by several factors:
1) Lack of consumer demand for a particular series or style
2) Tannery Drops
3) Lengthy delivery times
4) Inconsistency in product from batch to batch
5) Price increases
Most dealers (and customer) don't know this - but they tell me appx 20 % of all leather that arrives at H&M is rejected for quality issues and returned to the supplier. The inspect each shipment and will not accept anything substandard. This sets their suppliers on notice to not ship inconsistent hide to H&M. It can also result in longer wait times for Special Orders, if they hide comes in for an order and they send it back - they have to wait several more weeks for another batch. This aggravates customers of course, but quality control is Job 1 at H&M. When you hear the horror stories on wait times about H&M Product in Yelp reviews, etc., this is almost always what has occured. The Weston series of leathers for example, was recently dropped due to batch after batch after batch not coming in correctly.
One day I will update the list! Low priority.....lol
