Without question, the vast majority of all H&M City Series (model 9840) are sold in the program leathers (Cavalier or Kip, married cover) for Just in Time and Town and Country promotions. Once in a while a customer orders something unique and this sofa done in Hyde Park Brownie Burnished is that! It gives it a whole new look and is quite handsome, I was really surprised how well this turned out on both sofas (the order was for a pair). Really takes it up a notch in style and look in the better leathers - and yes, it adds to the price to do this. Burnishing job on these is perfect - so good in fact that I send a note to the CEO of H&M to pass it on down to the person that did it, she really was on the mark on these two.

At this level of purchase, you have to think about how well the piece turns out. Appearance and style really comes into play on a piece that will go forty years. Yes, it costs more at the outset to do a hide like this, but it comes back to you in many years of enjoyment of the piece and when amortized over the life of the piece its not all that much.
