Default High Point Furniture Market Fall 2022

Here's a sneak peek from the Fall High Point Furniture Market!

Hancock & Moore has collaborated with renown designer Corey Damen Jenkins and will be debuting the collection at Market.

We had the chance to meet Corey himself at last Market and he couldn't be a nicer guy. The team at Hancock & Moore spoke very highly of him and said he was an amazing creative to work with.

We're expecting to see some major attention to detail and lots of interesting case goods in the Maitland-Smith collection from this collaboration. How fun are the dog head details on the armrests of this chair!?

We are not ordering anything at the Fall '22 Market this Fall to speak of. We are over-inventoried and have more product coming in daily. It's no secret that floor traffic is way off in furniture stores and the Covid rush to get furniture is over, that is industry-wide I plan to swing into Market for just a couple of hours and will only be going to Hancock and Moore plus Sherrill furniture. I would skip it entirely but promised my wife I would take her to Ashville NC for the Fall Foliage, so we will hit it on the way back.

The good news is there is no mention from any suppliers of more price increases at this time. Backlogs on builds will be decreasing as orders are slowing, but it will still be some time for the better makers to work down those backlogs.
