It's your hair and skin oils causing that. Some people, mostly older men, have chemicals and oils in their skin that cause that to happen. The solution is more frequent cleaning and conditioning. Also consider a headrest cover, which is simply a flat piece of leather seamed on all four sides and lays over the top. To fix what you currently have, call a mobile leather repair service in your area and they will come out and re-spray that are with a color match.

Yes you are. I'm 66 and feel old as dirt some days....lol
Flexsteel may have headrest covers, but all you really need is a scrap piece of hide off EBAY about 16" X 12" and local upholsterer to seam it for you on four sides.

Also for a chair that cost 1500 it seems like the leather gets all wrinkled up.
I’ve seen LazyBoy chairs that look better than this ..
Isn’t there any leather chair that doesn’t puddle it winkle ?
Is Stickly made with inner spring seat pads so it won’t do this ??
Or what brand would be best ??
Again ,,, if I buy a headrest cover won’t it do the same thing ???
It can of course, but if you clean and condition it frequently it usually won't.

Which is less expensive to replace if/when it does, the chair or the cover?
A headrest cover costs next to nothing. You can make them of scrap leather. Reupholstering an entire piece is usually never worth the cost.
