Hi folks - first time posting here! I have a sofa in mind that is 84” W X 37” H X 38” D & am wondering if it might fit thru my 32.5” W X 78” H X 85” diagonal doorway. Some say yes, others say maybe. Those are all the details I have. Appreciate any thoughts from folks with experience who’ve navigated this or something similar. Many thanks!
It depends on the frame structure of the sofa, not the overalll dimensions. Is the arm set back from the front edge of the sofa? What is the tallest point of the back with the cushions off? Do the legs come off? And What is a diagonal doorway?
No one can tell you from the information provided, but 32.5” doors are on the narrow side for many sofas.

Hi, thanks so much for your response. The purchase of the sofa would be online, sight unseen, thus, the only thing I have to go on is the following information on the website (link below) which lists this additional information:
-Seat Height: 20"
-Seat Depth: 22"
-Leg Height: 4"
I'm not sure if the legs would come off. As for diagonal, apologies, I'd meant that the diagonal measure of the doorway is 85". To get the width of the doorway, I've been measuring from the opened door, which is flush to the wall at a right angle, to the inside of the door frame on the opposite side. Not a lot of wiggle room.

Again, many thanks.
Have your seller tilt the sofa on its back and see if the legs will come off, they should. Then you won’t have an issue.
