Hutton Slate is not a pull-up leather, so it should not really have any pressure marks, shoot me that photo and I'll take a look.

The plastic attachments on the casters are only to protect the caster rollers from getting marks during shipping, they are to be thrown out once you have the piece in the house.

    Recliner speed is not guaranteed!

This is the perfect van to rent when hauling furniture yourself. Very easy to drive, they will hold a sofa and two recliners in the cartons and even more. They are pretty commonly available. Ford Transit Extended Roof, this is the longest body they build.

Omicron Variant is widespread now, we all know that from simply watching or reading the news. Expect this to have an effect on both factories making your orders AND the delivery / shipping companies. Remember that once someone is affected, there is a 10 - day quarantine before they can come back to work. That is bound to have an impact on production, warehousing and transport.

One of my three delivery guys just tested positive on Dec 23rd (he had not been in the store or on delivery since Dec 3rd) so that even affects small businesses like The Keeping Room.

Everyone is Covid-weary. Emails come in from folks with orders expressing frustration at time delays beyond what they anticipated. Sorry, there is nothing we can do to speed up anything. Please read that again - there is nothing we can do to speed up your order.

Patience is all I can suggest.
