That looks super sweet! The only thing that I would have done different is to make the outside edging of the back not tufted. But that might not have been possible and is a "don't know it until you see it" thing. Regardless, its a fantastic sofa.

Actually that is not tufted, that is printed into the leather itself. I think you mean the outside back border you would have left in the body leather, and that is a good look as well.

How does the Keenan compare to the Tilton?

Both from South America I see but not much info available on the Keenan since it seems to have been just introduced.

We love just about everything except the reddish color of the Tilton Lager...so was looking at the Keenan Toffee.

    Thanks

I like the Keenan, I think it's a pretty good hide, and it's price grade 1. Now, it's not comparable to a grade 3 Italian pull-up, but its not priced like it, either.

Wow Duane you are workin late tonight!

It’s more of a color issue for us.

Even with the Keenan being a grade I, it isn’t in the T&C program.

So I think the Tilton, as it is in the T&C, probably still going to be cheaper.

    Decision decisions….

With the internet, we never really close - though we don't have all the order records at home so for specific questions we have to wait until at the office, etc.

I always suggest to buy the promotional leathers in the programs *IF* you like what is offered. However, I think it's more important to get what you want even if it may cost a bit more. These pieces will last a very long time. You will be using them in your home (unless your style tastes change) long after you forgot what you paid for them. For example, it's likely you will go though three of four automobiles in the next several decades and STILL be sitting in your Author Chair that you bought. While saving money is always smart, having no regrets is even smarter.

So my wife and I want to sit on that Keenan leather that is on the "bold custom sofa" and have some extra miles that will likely expire given that we won't be able to travel for a bit with the baby coming in September.

All that to say. We want to fly up this weekend and come to the store on Saturday and compare the Tilton Lager to the Keenan, discuss the Ottoman situation with you and ideally hammer out our order and write you a check.

Are you in the store this Saturday?

    Thanks!
