Thread: Is this really Stickley?

    Question Is this really Stickley?

Hello, I'm curious if this is actually even a style made by Stickley, because I haven't seen turned legs on any pieces that I've known were authentic. I might buy the desk regardless since its just $200, but if she really believes its Stickley I was wondering about the price.

Quite possibly. Gustav Stickley was best known for his "Mission" furniture which is most likely what you are thinking of. However, Stickley's younger brothers: Leopold and John George, incorporated in Fayetteville, New York, in 1904. The marks shown appear to match theirs. It's a nice piece. Hope you got it. Please don't paint it.
