Just in from Fjords, all motorized Fjords Relaxers will be shipping with an upgraded mechanism that includes a glide lock. When locked, the chair will still be able to swivel, but will not rock. See below for the full details from Fjords:

UPDATE:

All Fjords Relaxers are now shipping with an upgraded mechanism. A glide lock has been added to the motorized models, so the chairs can be locked to keep them from rocking. It is a lever on the base (at the back of the chair). It took a while to get this developed, but it is now here. This info can be included in the presentation of the chair since there are occasions when some customers prefer the chair not to rock, (older folks in particular). You may want to update a few of your floor models to the newer mechanism when the opportunity arises.

Be aware, the chairs are now shipped with the lever in the locked position, (its safer for the chair), so you will need to unlock the chair on delivery, (or when you put it on the floor).

Also, if you order a chair with a non-swivel base, it will not include a Glide lock. So that means you can have a chair that doesn't swivel, or, a chair that doesn't rock, but not both. If the customer doesn't want the chair to rock or swivel, then guide them to a wall saver. That is available in the Milan, Venice, and Harstad.

At Market, we purchased two of the new Dallas Swing Relaxers in Latte for floor stock which will have this new feature.

On the left is the "small" and the right the "large" model. It's hard to tell the size difference from the picture, and that's because the specifications are very similar, but when you sit in them, the small model feels more snug and is designed for smaller frames.
