I hate the seat cushion cores on my Beachcraft sofas I use in my covered porch area. They are too soft and just kill my back. Outdoor cushions have to be made of Dri-Foam, so the option to replace them are limited. Beachcraft does not offer a firmer density.

Today I was at Wal Mart with my wife and saw they had a craft section, I went over there no poked around and found a bag of poly fill for $12 that was firm.

Got home and it was the perfect size to cut three toppers out of, four layers thick. Literally all you need is some decent scissors to do this. Unzip the casing, roll it halfway off, and stuff your batting in. Re-zip the casing and done. A fifteen minute job.

Ahhh…..got them installed and it improved the firmness by at least 50%. Much better and easy to do.
