Default Repair Options for H&M Sectional Alligator Clip

I recently purchased a City Sectional sofa that's perfect except the retaining bolt that keeps one of the two alligator clips attached to the sofa itself appears sheared off. The bolt is less of a screw and appears more like a rivet with a long stem. I have the end piece that broke off and the rest of the stem, I think, is still attached to the couch. Before I try JB weld putty to put the two pieces together, any better ideas on a proper repair? Thanks.

You will need new clips, JB Weld won’t hold the tension or working stress. You can get them on Amazon
