Rock House Brands (Hancock and Moore, Century, Highland House, Jessica Charles, Hickory Chair and others) just bought Classic Leather last week.

Jack Glasheen and Jimmy Moore left Classic Leather in the 1970's to start Hancock and Moore with themselves and three other employees. As the story goes, it all started over nails using in the trim. The owner of Classic Leather wanted to move to a steel nail that was brass-plated to save money. Jack and Jimmy objected, saying QUALITY furniture always has solid brass nails. Tommy Shores Sr, the owner, reminded them they were employees and that didn't set well, so they left. And their one mantra that never changed at Hancock and Moore was to never comprise in the quality of the build, and they never did.

Jack and Jimmy retired in 2017 and sold Hancock & Moore + Jessica Charles to Rock House Brands. Now it's come full circle....
