    Unhappy Nuffsaid 73

We recently had a a fire mitigation system pipe break in the ceiling. some of the water (clean) ran onto a 20 yr old Flexsteel aniline leather couch and made a spot abot 18 x 10 inches on the front cushion. It seemed to dry but left a dark mark. Is there anyhting that can be done. It is now in sotaorage until the room can be repaired.

Leather and Water Saturation don’t mix well. Remove the affected cushion and take out the inner core, set the core aside. Put the leather casing in your home where it can gently dry out, don’t force dry it. Once it dries use some leather conditioner on it, that’s about all you can do.
