I just delivered this beautiful custom pedestal desk that I designed this past Saturday to a customer along with a H&M Freeman Office Chair (shown). It was made in five pieces because of the weight and egress into an upstairs office. I told my delivery guys to get a lot of photos with the store digital camera. They got one. ONE!!! Argh! I really wanted one of the front side of the desk as well.
Made of lightly figured tiger maple solids, has a removable modesty panel so it can be used with or without it, two letter filing drawers on the front side with traditional drawer layout. Made in a 1-man shop by John Buchanan of Ohio, price was $ 5,900.
Any yes, that is a cord hole drilled right in the top as per customer request. That was definitely a case of measure three times and then drill once! What a great desk, now I want one for my home office....
