Anybody have experience or have any information on the brand "Palatial"? Looking at a leather sofa & also a sectional. We saw this on the floor of a higher-end furniture retailer and from what I've seen it's 8 way hand tied construction..but I do know its out of China too. Any information would be great! Thanks!!!
Did you find more information on Palatial? Aside from their website, my online search has turned up dry.
I think I'd stay away from any furniture made in China.
I don't know much about leather furniture, I'm sorry.

8 way hand-tied springs are not necessarily an indicator of good quality. There are some very cheap "drop-in" versions made in Mexico and China where the springs are loosely tied by low-paid unskilled laborers who simply fasten twine to the springs to make them legally "hand-tied" but completely non-supporting.
Making a good 8 way hand-tied spring system is one of the most difficult skills in the furniture industry and the people who do it are usually among the highest paid. It takes years to become good at it and there are very few workers overseas who have the training or experience to do it correctly.
