Considering the B/Y Reid motion sofa and loveseat, but can't find one to actually look at and sit on. Would love any feedback from anyone who has one, or has seen it? Is it comfortable, any pros or cons? Also, the seat depth is 19.5. Is that deep enough for a 6 ft man? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
I have the 912 in my store, don't know if you are close by or not.

No, I am not. What is your opinion, especially the 19.5 seat depth for taller men?
I have had no one complain or negatively comment on the sit of the 912 series. They are a bustle back, and depth measurements on any bustle back should be taken with a grain of salt as the lower pillow can easily flex to and from several inches.

We've been looking for a reclining sofa and matching reclining chair, and I like the B-Y 912 series a lot. My wife, however doesn't like the way the footrest isn't connected to the seat, leaving a gap under the back of her knees (she thinks). We haven't been able to find a 912 here in Central Oklahoma for her to sit on to see how comfortable, or uncomfortable, it would be for her. We did find a 611 on a showroom floor, and she liked it very much. My research on this model reveals that it is made in China and only part leather, and I won't have it in my house. She is about 5' 5". Any advice for me? Celebrating our 49th anniversary this August 1st may depend on this.

Just out of curiosity, what is her concern with the "gap" between the seat and foot rest? Just aesthetics? Cat sneak attacks?
A footrest cannot be connected to the seat on any recliner, perhaps you mean she wants to see a covering flap instead of it being open?
I find the 912 series to be a good sitting piece, and have a sectional on my floor in that model.
No pieces under the Bradington Young brand are made in China, they are all done in Hickory NC. Seven Seas collection is made in China, but it doesn't carry the company logo or branding.

She probably means the models from the twofur brands that have the cushion extended out to the footrest, rather that the old cat hammock flaps.
My wife and I sat on the 912 sectional at the Keeping Room yesterday. We both found it very comfortable and it looks great. We are both about 5'7". We wish it would fit well in our space.
