I have a chest and I am moving accross the country so I am selling my furniture... I do not know what type of style it is or when it is from, the only thing I know is that it has a tag on the back from J.N. Adam & Co. which was a dept store in buffalo founded in 1881 and closed in 1960; below are some links to pictures
any help would be appreciated so much!!!!
Thanks

That's an unremarkable, factory made piece probably of maple, with inexpensive stamped brasses. Value is low on it. Put it on Craigslist for $ 200 and go from there.

@drcollie; thank you for the super fast response...!
any idea on what the "style" is IE: (shaker, arts & Crafts, Mission...) also any guess on the year it was made....?
Either way this is a great place to start-
Just an FYI: my genius father and I found the dresser by the garbage dumpster, I said hell no! but he saw the potential within it- so we rescued the piece, and dad put a darker finish on it, then I moved out of home and he gave it to me and said take it with you... and it's been in use for the last 14 years... sad to part ways with it- but I can't bring the furniture with me-
