Hi, Duane! The doorway to my living room is 31" wide and 78" tall. I can remove trim and get it to 32" wide. There is 82" clearance on the hall side and no obstacles in the living room (about 15 feet). Ceilings are 112". Do you think the York sofa NC303 would fit through that door?
It will probably fit, but the York will have to go in sideways because of the depth. So the questions becomes what is the measurement (with the back cushions off) of the back height overall. It's probably around 31", but if its over 32" you're out of luck. Check with your selling dealer and have them call H&M for a measurement of the back height with the cushions off. If you order the piece, specify that it must not exceed that dimension (if its close).

Thanks for the reply! My selling dealer will be you. I'm about sixty miles up the road in Maryland. I visited your store about a month ago. It will be a month or two before I'm ready to order, just checking my options. I want a big comfy couch! Thanks again, I'll be in touch
I called H&M today and asked for a measure....should hear back shortly!

Thank you so much!
Jimmy Moore says the sofa will fit through a 32" opening. And Jimmy is never wrong on that sort of thing!

Good news! Thanks for checking on that. This sofa search has been quite frustrating. Everything I like is too big. Which is why I want something that will last. I don't want to do this again anytime soon! I'll pm for samples
