Hello Forum,
I purchased this chair at a tiny charity thrift store. I can't find a maker on it. I've unzipped both cushions and turned the chair upside down to see if anything was printed on the bottom. It looks a little like a Baughman except for the long back the reaches the floor and the webbing under the set. It smells like leather, especially when I unzipped the cushions. I'm assuming it is a knock-off but if anyone has any thoughts I'd love to hear them. Thank you!
That's definitely NOT a Baughman! His T-back chair for Thayer Coggin never had an extended back like that, nor was there any visible framing(webbing under seat cushion,) device on the chair. There should at least be a manufacturer's legal tag that states if the chair meets fire codes for Cali, etc on the bottom...you're finding NOTHING??
I'd say it's a mass produced recent interpretation of a Milo Baughman by any of the numerous companies specialising in that(InMod, etc...)
