I bought this recliner off of Craigslist a while ago. It's a comfortable chair, and I like the look of it.
Unfortunately, the reclining mechanism is shot. It will extend, but it feels very rickety when you put your feet on it. It also won't snap into place when it retracts. I have to tip the chair over and force a lever by hand, or else it will slowly re-emerge. I've tinkered with the hardware and can't get anywhere.
The other day I finally called Hancock & Moore to get a replacement mechanism. They weren't able to help me without knowing which chair it was, and they seemed rather disinterested in helping me ID it. I am not optimistic about hearing back from them.
Unfortunately, I can't match the chair to any of their current offerings, and there is no model name or number on the cushion.
I only paid $80 for the chair, so I'm willing to sink a little money into it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. At this point I either need to get it fixed or put it out on the curb, and I hate to waste a nice leather chair.
Let me know if any more pictures are necessary.
Ho boy, that's an old one. Before my time as a dealer....let me do some research and see if I can get a model number and if there is a replacement mechanism available....

No one at H&M is able to identify that recliner, sorry. You can unzip the back of the seat casing and take down the numbers you see on the core, or photograph it and we can try that way.

First off, THANK YOU for your effort and time! I hugely appreciate it.
There is no way to unzip the seat casing that I can see; everything is one piece.
I did find some writing on the underside of the frame that I hadn't noticed before. One says "3026 Wyoming" (I think) and the other just says "3026" (positive on that one). Does that help at all? I wasn't able to Google anything.
Maybe...we can try that.

The Recliner Plant Manager from H&M and said that unit is so old that they no longer make mechanisms for it, sorry.
