I'm getting braver! Ordered this for floor stock, it has a number of custom features on it. I have to say, I REALLY like this piece. Just arrived this morning.
Leg Finish: Nutmeg
"I" stitching on Seat Cushions, In and Out Back, Seat, In and Out Arms
Gimp Trim at Base with "AA" nails spaced, remaining nails "A" nail.
Ultra Down Seats
In the store at $ 3,299 as shown - Special Market Price. Normally this is $ 4,470 if ordered exactly as configured. Heck of a deal if someone in the Wash DC area would like to own this piece. Compare to the ordinary # 4487 on the H&M website and you can see that by making some optional tweaks you can change the entire look of the sofa.

Bravo Duane! I think your 'bravery' is likely to create more risk taking and 'leather snobs'. Time to shake things up a bit and start some creativity. I wouldn't expect that piece to stay on your floor too long.
That is a great piece, I am tempted to throw out my other living room lazy boy couch floral design that is uncomfortable like all my others that i have been donating to the poor. not worth selling the stuff , up here in seattle area a couple of lazy boy galleries closed with lots of customers money...they never got their furniture.
I'll echo what the others have already said: beautiful piece! Keep experimenting and follow your design instincts.
This is one of the few short comings of Hancock and Moore's website. They really don't do a good enough job of showing all the possibilities you have to really customize a piece. I can't even find 'I' stitching on there. I know, only through this website, they also offer baseball stitching. If they actually emphasized the full range of customization and all the attendant possibilities (including pictures) I'm sure they'll sell quite a few pieces. I'm sure lots of people would like a relatively unique piece.... until someone posts pictures of it and then everyone will want one
And such is why we have the forum! I figure over the course of a few years, I'll have a library of photos here that will rival their website. I have two more * custom * pieces coming in the store tomorrow, and will photo them. Both for floor stock.
I also have photos of all the new October Market leathers, which won't make it to the H&M web site until February. I'll try to post those in the next few days.
