I have a 10+ H&M 1775ST Oakley Tufted Swivel-Tilt Chair, where the cushion is sagging/indented due to many years of sitting in it.
I still like the chair, just wondering how to go about replacing the cushion, if that is even possible.
Any advice on whether this is possible or worthwhile?
Thanks!
That’s a tight seat, so the right way to fix that is return it to Hancock and Moore in Hickory NC and they will go over the whole chair and fix it up, for not much money. It’s worthwhile.
Now is a very bad time to do it, however. Wait until the fall when things hopefully settle down a bit.

Thank you for the quick response!
I am not in a rush, so waiting until later in the year is no problem.
Any advice on finding a reasonable way to get the chair back and forth to them?
Or does H&M help with that?
I don’t know where you live or your ability to arrange transport back to Hancock and Moore. They do not set that up, however.

Is the place you bought it still in business? Do you think they could advise you? I don't know if this is one of those cases where you should contact H&M directly or if it is better for the place you bought it to dot that for you. If you give your location maybe Duane could help point you more in the right direction. You might contact some of the shipping companies he has recommended here to see if they would be willing to do it and how much it would cost.

Hi - After much delay, I am ready to try to figure shipping out to H&M. I am located in Twin Cities, MN, so unfortunately shipping is the only option. I am the original owner, but can't locate the receipt. I am going to call a couple dealers that I may have bought from to see if they have my purchase record. Any recommendations on shippers that I can check with to get a quote would be appreciated!

You must call Ann Grindstaff at H&M to obtain a Return Authorization before shipping something back.
Good luck
