I'll put digital snapshots here of various pieces that come through my store. Others are welcome to do the same. These are all going to be quick and un-retouched shots (just cropped with text added), with most taken right out of the box before delivery. Seems to be a good way to get a different look at a piece (and the hides they come in) especially in natural sunlight.

Duane, this is a great idea! This'll give people a chance to see how the piece really looks like. I find the pictures on the manufacturers website rather inadequate and unnatural looking.
Can I request that you try to include pictures of the front, side, back and maybe an angle shot for each model? Plus any miscellaneous shots (e.g.- close ups of any architectural detail that you think just really make it a quality piece). Can you also include shots of the piece inside your store in natural lighting? Or do you think the ones outside under the sun gives the best representation of the true colour of the leather?
One of the specifications you listed is "Finish". Can you tell me what this is referring to? I thought the leather (e.g.- Kipling Cognac) told you everything you had to know about it (colour, etc...)?
Please do update these threads if you get these models in again but in a different leather. It'd be nice to get a chance to see what all the different leathers look like.
Also, can anyone else post in this section? Or is it restricted to just yourself?
Time to resurrect this thread! Here are some comparison pictures of H&M leather samples (I have the full set for one week only). If you'd like to see some different ones, just ask; I'm happy to do it.
Duane posted awhile back about not wanting people to clog up his server with large photos, so I've kept these to 700px wide. On my own server, though, I've put larger ones - 2000px - which give a much better view of the textures, especially if you have a large, high quality monitor.

Everybody's questions is, Are the colors accurate? I've found that the leather samples are just like paint samples - they look completely different in different lights. So, yes and no, the photos are accurate and also not accurate. So helpful, right? These are about as good as they can be without a professional studio; taken outside on an overcast day (not much sun this time of year in Oregon) with a high end DSLR & lens on a tripod, with a nickel to help the camera focus.

This is great crunchysue!! If you get a chance I'd love to see Weston Cane Burnished, Mesquite Saddle Burnished, and Cameo Tan Burnished...I'm trying to decide on one of the lighter burnished colors for a chair. I know they will never be exact because of the handmade nature, but I'm trying to find one without a lot of overly orange tones thanks!
Bravo! Well Done!

It's a sunny day today! So I retook my first set of photos for comparison, and then took a bunch more.
Note to DaisyMarie18 - there is no Cameo Tan in the set, sorry.
