Our Facebook account was hijacked Thanksgiving Day, crooks never take a day off. Facebook does NOT make it easy to reinstate as the hackers changed the email/passwords/phone numbers on the account. It's going to take some time and effort to restore.

That’s such a pain. I’m sorry.
Here's where you can help out. This from my daughter Sarah - we need to get this guy kicked off the platform so we can reclaim the page. He has made himself Administrator of The Keeping Room Facebook page and while Sarah can restore the page, she cannot ban him.

If you want, you can send this to all of your friends and have them report him for trying to impersonate the business.

I reported him. I hope that helps.
We are back up with our Facebook page under The Keeping Room, however we cannot remove the Hacker as Admin. We can go in and fix his errant posts, but cannot boot him from the page. Facebook itself has turned their corporate back on us and will not reply to our repeated requests for help. I think that hacker has probably moved on, but if you see something out of order on the Facebook page, let me know and we can repair it. Thanks to my Daughter Sarah for spending hours on this to correct it and get it back up.

Something similar happened to my brother recently. His account got compromised, and it took a while to regain control. Thank you, Facebook, for not making this easier. Even after he secured his account, there were still remnants of the hacker's actions that took time to fix.
Guys, be careful with your accounts and your data on them. Simple things like using strong, unique passwords and enabling two-factor authentication can make a big difference. I'll leave this article here: https://www.salvagedata.com/facebook...oure-affected/. It describes how to know if your account was hacked.
