If you can dream it....hand-painted Hancock and Moore Taos barstools, Tuscany Scene
Bored with your furniture? Need some spark? Look what they did at Hancock and Moore for a customer by request, four of the Taos # 137 barstools with a artist-painted scene on the back of each one. I have met the artist that does this, he's quite good. You can have mountains, a beach scene, sailboats, horses, whatever you like (and can pay for). The painting on the backs are quite reasonable I think (currently $ 525 each at MSRP / discounts commonly available), over and above the price of the regular barstool, depending on the complexity. In an age when the kitchen is the centerpiece of the house in new homes however, and the back of the barstools are what you see from the entrance, this may well be worth it.
