The H&M Author Chair and Ottoman
Did you know.....
That when Hancock & Moore first came out with the "Author" chair and "Ottoman", they called it the Hemmingway Chair as (I was told) they made it after a chair that Ernest Hemmingway had owned. The original name did not last long however, they were contacted by the Hemmingway estate and told they could not use that name unless they were willing to pay a licensing fee - which they declined. So it became the "Author" chair that you see today.
