I have read a few comments about the problems with Motion Sofas showing age in the recliner sections over time, but I have a few other questions.
1) Does choosing any recliner or motion furniture eliminate the better features of such furniture? Such as 8-way hand-tied springs?
2) Can anyone recommend the better-quality motion furniture that is available? I've mostly seen Motioncraft, which was described as "mid-level", at best. Are there others offering reclining sofas that I should consider? I am specifically interested in hidden-arm types -- and reclining sofas that do not look like theater seating.
Thanks for any help!
Correct, no motion furniture has an 8-way spring deck, as that requires a stationary frame to secure the springs to. All will be mechanism springs.
I like the new 9xx series B-Y motion pieces, I have the sectional version coming into my store this week. Its pretty plush!

Thanks. I'll look into the B-Y. I can't fit a sectional in my house -- it's pure Traditional here, too. But I'll look. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting your store last year, by the way.
