I have it on a small half fabric/half leather bench and it looks fantastic in this instance, but if I had it covering an entire sofa, it would drive me crazy! We sit on it and write our names on the leather. If a dog jumps on it, the marks are there for a very long time. They are really not at all the same to live with.
Artielange, that's good to know! If I remember correctly, do you also have Weston on some chairs? How would you compare the wearability of that as far as pull up and scratchiness? It looks so nice, but I'm afraid it looks almost too nice... I like the worn look, because that's going to happen anyway with 3 kids and a giant poodle (who is having to learn very quickly he will NOT be sleeping on the H&M!)

Yes, I have Weston Sunrise on two Crenshaw chairs and an ottoman. Without question, it is my favorite of my H&M leathers to date. (Of course the sofa and chair currently being made is Capri, Duane's favorite, so it will be an interesting comparison!) Weston has a low sheen, luxurious look, it feels fantastic to the touch, and it is solid colored with no variation. It is elegant and special, and it shames the Document Copper sofa and loveseat that it is paired with. I absolutely love to touch it. I do find myself worrying about it the most, partly because it's my favorite and partly because of the light color. I let the dogs lay on the Document; I don't let them on the Weston. If it was a darker color, I probably would let them on it. I think it wears very well.

    Daisymarie...
I just recently finished picking leathers from the entire sample set and here is some additional info that may help.
First of all the sample crunchysue shows of Mesquite Saddle is not burnished, on the back it just says Mesquite Saddle.
There is no Cameo Tan Burnished in the sample set.
I ordered current samples of Mesquite Saddle Lightly Burnished, Cameo Tan Burnished, Tuscany Saddle, and Tuscany Harness which are the small pieces in the below pictures.
We ended up ordering Mesquite Saddle Lightly Burnished & Tuscany Harness
All pictures are taken indoor in natural light with no flash.

I have been thinking about the Weston leather for a new Saddle chair that I may order.

I just received my Carmen sofa in Hand Antiqued Sunset Burnished which is striking. Now, how to figure out a color that would work with the sofa. I also have two dark brown BY recliners in the room. I'm thinking a brown leather with a touch of red in might work well. I have a sample of Cameo Mocha Burnished that looks like a possibility. I have the Princeton chair in Cameo Brown Burnished in my study and the leather feels and looks great. But, I am very curious about the Weston's virtues. Please, any thoughts?

Can you please post some pictures of your new sofa? Or are they on the forum somewhere already? If not, I'd suggest starting a new thread in the "Leather Upholstery" category to show everybody what you've already got, and get some suggestions about what might match.

The Carmen is on the forum bigtime in my color. I will post photos soon but that's not my forte. So, will get my husband on it soon. I will try your suggestion and go to the leather section with the Carmen.

Great! Everybody likes seeing pictures of everybody else's furniture, and lots of people here have opinions.

Thank you for posting these!! I think I've decided I might go with the Campaign Ottoman and Author chair in Tuscany Harness, and then do a smaller accent chair in one of these lighter colors.
