In general, is it advised to get a 5 year warranty and scotch guard for a fabric furniture piece? I'm figuring since the piece is extremely well-made and they do not make slipcovers for that particular half chair, that investing into the 5 year warranty and scotch guard might be the way to go. Or should I bypass and continue with my search for a custom made slipcover? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks. I'm thinking I may be using this chair moderately. No pets as of yet, but in the future, I would love to get a dog maybe a Rhodesian ridgeback.)
Go to Wal-Mart or Target and buy a can of Scotchguard. About $ 6. Re-apply every 6 months or when water no longer beads up on the seating surface.
