My parents' 30 year wedding anniversary is coming up, and I have no idea what to get them. I figured this forum has a lot of people in their 50s-60s. What kind of things do you like to do? What was a great gift that you received from your children?
Earlier I was looking at a sunrise hot air balloon ride + breakfast, but I am concerned they may not actually enjoy that so much as find it terrifying.
HA! Best gift I ever got from my kids was when they got their own cell phone plan....
If its in your budget, book them a short 3-day cruise in January or February out of Port Canaveral or Ft Lauderdale. Who doesn't like a quick warm-up in the middle of winter? (they can pay for the airfare, Orlando and Ft Lauderdale are pretty inexpensive to fly into).

Traditional gift is pearl, maybe something with a pearl inlay?
How about a Spa Day for two with a couples massage, treatments and meals included? and then reservations at a little B&B in town or at a nice upscale hotel (depending on what they like best) with dinner reservations included. I'd love that for our 30th........only 9 more years to go
