I just wanted to give you all a peek at my new HM Yellowstone Sofa and BY Percy Swivel chairs. Duane and The Keeping Room did a superb job in helping me to finalize my buying decisions after a very long courting period! I bought the Yellowstone Sofa in Columbia Butternut and the Percy Swivel chairs in a beautiful 9055-48 Blue leather. All nail head trim on the pieces were standard and work flawlessly with each piece. You can see that I also have a an ottoman from McKinley Leather that I also purchased from The Keeping Room, several months before I purchased the current set of furnishings. Turns out that it is a bit too small, so I will need to order something more to scale at some point. The items were delivered about a month or so apart by A&O as part of their white glove delivery and they executed the delivery on-time and with ease. I will add more pics at a later date, but wanted to get these up for all to see.
Duane, thanks again!
Eddie
Looks nice! What color are you thinking for the ottoman?
Thanks Eddie! Photos are a bit too small, can you upsize them a little?

Very nice! How are you liking those swivel chairs?
Hello pvcpvc! The swivel chairs are very nice and work well for my space. In fact, I chose them as opposed to a loveseat so that persons sitting in those seats can turn and watch television without having to turn their heads to look at the television. They also work nicely for conversations, as you can turn and face the folks sitting on the sofa more directly as well.
Hello Danw99, I am not quite sure what to do about a color choice for the new ottoman. I may leave that up to Duane!
Here are some additional pictures. I hope the sizing is better this time! The one thing I personally might have done differently, would be to order the "fullness of crown" for the seat cushions on the Yellowstone sofa. They began to "puddle" from about day three of use and I don't care for that look. Nothing bad though an very comfortable in the standard core firmness.
Those blue chairs are sweet!
Re: puddling, is there any reason to not add some stuffing? I don't know what the insides of your cushions contain, but I discovered the zippers on my recliner's back and goofed around a little with the big cushion of fluff to eliminate some unevenness. While in there, I noticed some loose stuffing used along the top of the chair, between the leather and the wood frame, so if there's ever an issue with that, I know I can buy a bag of cushion filler at the fabric store and touch up.
For a seat cushion, batting may be a better option, like the stuff used for making quilts, etc.
I'm gonna get kicked out of this forum for trying to "hack" H&M furniture, aren't I??!
You can't really 'add' stuffing, because the seat core is engineered and you would really just wind up with a shifting mess on your hands. All leather is going to "puddle" if you sit upon it, it can't be helped. The cushion can be made of of higher foam density and larger dimensions to fill the sleeves to compensate for that somewhat, but you have to be careful otherwise you take out the comfort of the seat and wind up feeling like you are sitting atop a big balloon, or a wooden park bench.
If you are willing to trade off seat comfort for a more taut seat for appearances, then it's possible to build a core like that. We can even retrofit that for you to an existing piece. It's not normally something I would recommend - buy its do-able! If your stock cores are really unsatisfactory Eddie, - drop me an email and we will see about getting ones firmer and with more fill to them.
