Capri butternut
Capri harness
Cameo mocha
Aspen tobacco
Hyde park earth
Cameo carmel
We have a Utah tufted sofa in Weston cane burnished. We are having a hard time trying to pick a leather to put on an author chair/ottoman. We are considering Capri butternut, Hyde Park earth burnished, Capri Harness, Cameo Mocha& carmel burnished,& Aspen tobacco. Any help is appreciated.

I was almost about to buy a similar tufted sofa, "Utopia", in Hyde Park Earth, until I sat in it for about 15 minutes while looking at a handle of leather selections. Turned out the squeaking drove me crazy! It sounded like mama mouse and all her family had moved in. Duane told me that is part of the package with burnished leathers (I guess especially when tufted). They do squeak as you move and it won't get better. For me, that would be crazy-making, as this sofa was intended to be a family room sofa where we sit and talk and watch tv. The HP Earth and Tan are both beautiful, but I would avoid them for that reason.
Perfect example of different tastes and concerns. For me, it was an absolute deal-breaker. I have enough problems with hearing as it is; I could not stand that squeak, squeak, squeak with every move. No question they are both beautiful leathers, but there are plenty of beautiful leathers that don't make that noise, so for me, I'd look elsewhere.
Not the Aspen, because its a finished leather and will look "artificial" next to your existing piece. My vote is Capri Harness - because you already have one burnished hide and the Capri is Oh-So-Soft. A true luxury hide.
