Studying the nailhead sticky...we like the Truscan and Old Gold...have a question.
Are the S Small Truscan and DD Old Gold the same size? And are they the same standard size as the A Hancock nail?
The small Truscan looks...not just smaller than the Large Truscan, but also smaller than the standard nails.
Yes, those are all what is known as # 9 size, or 1/2" nails.

Thankyou. In your experience, which is brighter...Old Gold or Truscan? We’re looking for a gilded look....

Old Gold DD has more brass to it than the Truscan S , but not nearly as much as the Hancock A nail. Brightest nail is the Gilded I nail, dullest is the Natural L nail.

Thank you, Duane. Appreciate the reply.
I’ve frequently read posts here where you’ve advised people to ask for samples, see for yourself and see what you like...and by a fluke, I was able to do that today...on a holiday weekend no less. The H&M nail board I saw today was impressive! They are simply beautiful....every one of them. The Truscan, while beautiful, is much darker than I thought...having seen a photo of it here on Luggage Blackberry barstools, taken outside. You always advise folks...re the photos...they’re not intended for color. After seeing in person, Old Gold is perfect.
Thanks again for your reply.
