What is the main difference between hospital bed mattress or normal mattresses ? Is it same?
First time I have ever heard anyone ask for a comparison. Hospital beds are designed to move into various angles, so they are going to be latex or foam, not an innerspring mattress, but there are plenty of foam beds on the market.

And they are plastic encased so they can be disinfected between patients. And they cost a LOT more, lol. This is the brand of hospital bed we use, and the model is very similar. RECONDITIONED, if you don't want new and first quality, runs about $4850.00 and comes with a 4-6 inch foam matress. Set-up and delivery is an addiitonal $1250.00. No wood involved anywhere. All man made materials. https://homecarehospitalbeds.com/pro...-hospital-bed/ Don't know about a replacement matress, we don't replace any that I am aware of, and they do get sunken areas in the middle over time.
