We have completely revised our terms on orders and prefer credit cards that are automatically charged. Price quotes no longer reflect a cash discount and form of payment is up to you, however payment via check must arrive within 5 days of notification or the shipping process will be paused on the order until the check does arrive.
Unfortunately we have experienced a series of events from multiple customers in the past few weeks that are leaving us with several thousand dollars worth of loss, cancelled orders which result in significant unplanned inventory, difficulties in deliveries into homes and so on. While we have always tried to have a very relaxed customer service policy and honor system, it no longer works in 2022. While our policies have changed, you will find they are now in-line with most all other furniture stores.
We are transitioning to billing with credit cards through Quickbooks, so it will be very fast, and very secure via email. It's an all-new system for us requiring a learning curve to get up to speed, but Sarah is on top of it - she is very tech savvy.
