What's my go-to leather conditioner for pure aniline leathers? Moore and Giles # 33, there is nothing on the market like it. Here's a Hooker Dual Recliner Chesterfield in the store that is brand new, but it looked a bit "dry". I did half the piece, and took photos. Look at the difference! This product works ONLY on pure aniline hides, it will do nothing on finished leather (which is painted). Best applied with your bare hand - and it makes your hands very soft, too! This took about one hour to do start to finish and it is normal to see some minor color transfer to your wipe off rag.
We have it at the store in two sizes.
8 oz is $ 65,
2 oz is $ 36.

Hey Duane,
Is this okay to use on Burnished leathers?
Sean
Yes, it's PERFECT on burnished leathers actually.

Does it all soak in or do you risk it transferring to your clothes?
You just have to apply the correct amount and massage into the leather, let dry, and you are good.

Will this work with H&M Tiburon? I know it's a pullup leather but it's so waxy it almost behaves like a protected leather when it comes to cleaning
Yes. The Moore & Giles #33 is excellent on all pull-up and burnished leathers. It the only conditioner we use in the store on pre-delivery of pieces in those leather classes if needed.

Do you like their cleaner as well for aniline leather?
I have never used their cleaner.
Truth be told, most specialty cleaners are over-rated in my opinion. I usually make my own for leather. Spritzer bottle with plain water, a few drops of liquid hand soap (not dishwashing soap, too harsh) and a few ounces of vinegar. That will clean leather as good as anything and cost very little to make.
The real test of a cleaner is on a leather steering wheel of your vehicle. Nothing gets as grimy and dirty so quickly that you will own as a leather steering wheel. Use a clean white cotton cloth and you won’t believe what comes off. Never saturate leather, and don’t overdo it with cleaning agents. Less is more.
The Conditioners are where you want to spend your money, there is a lot of cheap, ineffective product out there in that category.
