Many new homes today feature prominent counter areas in the kitchen, and perhaps you are looking for something nicer and more comfortable than your typical counter stool. The difficulty has always been - you're reluctant to buy premium stools out of a catalog - because what if you don't like them when they show up? I UNDERSTAND.
I have brought in six of Hancock & Moore's best counter stools and coupled them with an Urban Barnwood High Top Table (made of reclaimed barn oak and steel). Each one is different, and I tried to pick as many different leathes and finishes to show what you can do in decor. There are over 400 leathers available and about 40 wood finishes. To my knowledge, I am the only Hancock and Moore dealer in the country that has something on display like this, most will just tell you to pick out something from the website and place your order. So come by and try one out if you are in Northern Virginia. There is not a better counter stool on the market than Hancock & Moore, they not only look great, but they will stand up well to daily use in the kitchen.

One of my favorites, I've had these in my own home for several years though not quite as fancy as this one. # 153-30 Steele Farm Bar Stool in GR 5 leather Seminole Taupe, combo with Spirit Dune leather GR 2, wood finish is Walnut Distressed and nail is Natural "L". You can sit in this for hours. Swivels and on display in the store.
The # 148-30 Ellie Bar Stool is always popular and a top seller. Shown in Nirvana Earth Leather (GR1) with Driftwood finish, "A" nail trim. This stool does not swivel. On display in the store.

Hi, coming late to this post, can you tell me the name of the two stools with their backs to the sofa? Specifically, looking at the photo, the stool on the right with nails . Thanks.
Think I figured out...it’s the Steele? So nice looking...
Yes, the Steele Farm is - by far - the # 1 selling bar stool from Hancock and Moore. I have a pair in my home I use daily and they hold up over time.

Thanks. Just seeing the top half of it, behind the table...it looks very nice.
You may know...looking at bar and counter stools, I came across a boot stool, DaVinci boot stool, and it has the same decorative wood trim as the Chancellor cocktail bench. I’m wondering if that same decorative trim might also be on a counter stool, and I just haven’t found it
Maitland Smith, which is a sister company to Hancock and Moore (yes we are a dealer for them as well) has some based with similar carving details on their barstools.

Thanks much. I also really, really like the quilted Mirad counter stool. Not many photos of it...
