Just arrived today. A new design by friend Alan Price that I saw at the October Market. Lots of sleek lines, made out of real American Walnut Wood and in the magnificent Sauvage series leathers (yes, there are cheaper leathers you can put on this chair - but they look.....well...cheap). This chair is rock solid in structure and has a very agreeable back pitch, its quite nice to sit in. Look at the attention to detail, do yo know how difficult it is to install that nail trim so close to the wood frame without marking that Walnut? You can't putty and color that walnut if you miss and make a mistake. A very high level of craftsmanship. In the store as a floor model, this one won't last long. Whittmore Sherrill Model # 121-01.
