Anybody know the reputation of this shop?
Thanks.
They used to be in the same shopping complex as my store. Folks always seemed happy with their company, I never heard any negatives.

Good to know, thank you.
Ainsley's Brass Beds is no longer there. They had issues with their lease and decided to retire.
Thanks, Denali. I ended up finding (on Craigslist) a used version of the exact Brass Bed of Virginia bed I reallywanted, but never thought I could afford (retail is around $2400). I bought it for 1/4 of that price, and I am very happy with the purchase. I believe the owner purchased it at Ainsley's a few years ago.

That is a beautiful bed. So glad you were able to get one on Craigslist. I have seen them here too,but not lately. I.m currently looking for another one.
Is that the bed in your home? I like the way you have it set up.
Denali,
Thank you. Yes, it's the set-up in my home. Now I just have to replace the light fixture and do something with the windows. I looked at Wesley Allen, C. P. Rogers, and Benicia, as well. They were nice, but just not the same quality as BBV. Plus, I found out that C.P. Rogers has all its iron beds made in the Philippines. Anyway, I like that BBV has the old-fashioned drop-pin rail system, rather than headboards and footboards that screw into a frame. It just seems more stable to me. They come up on CL from time to time, but it takes patience to wait for the style you really want. I never in a million years thought that I would find what I was looking for, but I guess you never know.

I've been wanting to get the pics of my bed from Brass Beds of Va. Here it is. Still looking for another one on Craigslist. This I bought at the factory in Richmond.
I love it! It's gorgeous--and I also love the wall color in your bedroom.
Do you live anywhere near North Carolina?
