Hi all -
I'm new to the forum and moving to similiar apt. but on top floor. I want to purchase new furniture and change the current layout I had because I want more of an open space. See attached pics to get an idea of my floor plan for my living room. The new apt will have faux hardwood floors. I'm looking to get a cream/taupe or grey sofa and possibly accent chair or just a sectional ... would love thoughts.
I've switched my furniture around just to get an idea of what I want to do (so please ignore as I have not switched it back to it's original layout).
The sofa against the wall is where I'm thinking to place my TV.
The sofa was initially where the leather chair sits dividing the dining area from living room.
I was thinking to place my new sofa or sectional against the wall where you currently see the TV stand.
Thanks in advance.
Ahhhh..the sideways iPhone photos. I'll give you a little tip on that, after each photo you take press the EDIT button and then perform any EDIT function, most commonly just crop the photo, then save it. Then, when you send it the photo will be upright.
Your space is not that large, so don't over-furniture it is my advice. If you do a sectional, stay compact and small, 100" or less on the left / right wall space. I'd have to see a floor plan to really help you lay it out, one done to scale.

I was wondering how to fix the pictures. When you say floorplan "one done to scale" I'm not familiar with that. Do I need to utilize a certain program or could I provide the floorplan the apt complex provides online? I'm going to get that floorplan to you ASAP, to help with my stress ... lol.
